The Gunners' chief executive recently announced his intentions to leave the Emirates for a new role at Serie A giants AC Milan.
Gazidis won't join his new team until next month and was keen to meet with Arsenal supporters before his exit.
The South African was joined by fellow hierarchy figures Raul Sanllehi and Vinai Venkatesham in a boardroom at Highbury House, where he addressed fans' concerns that he was departing without overseeing the transition after Arsene Wenger's departure.

And the Spaniard has admitted to fans he now wants to do the same in north London.
Football.London also claims Venkatesham told those in attendance about his new role at Arsenal.
The Indian, currently commercial director, will become managing director next month.
Venkatesham was brought to Arsenal back in 2010 and has worked his way up the hierarchy to be able to partner Sanllehi in the future, being dubbed 'the smartest man I have ever met' by Gazidis yesterday.
